Jupiter Energy Corporation; Proposed Changes in FERC Gas Tariff

September 13, 1994.
    Take notice that Jupiter Energy Corporation (Jupiter Energy) on 
August 31, 1994, tendered for filing the following sheets of its FERC 
Gas Tariff, Original Volume No. 1:

Eighth Revised Sheet No. 4A
Eighth Revised Sheet No. 5A
Eighth Revised Sheet No. 6A

    Jupiter Energy states that the filed tariff reflects revision, 
pursuant to Section 154.38(d)(6) of the Commission's regulations, of 
Jupiter Energy's Annual Charge Adjustment (ACA) surcharge. The new 
surcharge rate is $0.24 per Mcf.
    Jupiter Energy proposes an effective date of October 1, 1994.
    Jupiter Energy states that copies of the filing have been served on 
the Company's jurisdictional customers.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 
20426, in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules 
of Practice and Procedure. All such motions or protests should be filed 
on or before September 20, 1994. Protests will be considered by the 
Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will 
not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person 
wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of 
Jupiter Energy's filing are on file with the Commission and are 
available for public inspection.
