Agricultural Biotechnology Research Advisory Committee Working
Group on Aquatic Biotechnology and Environmental Safety
In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act of October
1972 (Pub. L. No. 92-463, 86 Stat. 770-776), the U.S. Department of
Agriculture (USDA), Science and Education, announces the following
meeting of a working group of the Agricultural Biotechnology Research
Advisory Committee (ABRAC):
The ABRAC Working Group on Aquatic Biotechnology and Environmental
Safety will meet in Room 108-A, USDA Administration Building, 14th
Street and Independence Avenue SW., Washington, DC 20250, on September
28, 1994 from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. The Working Group
will discuss the ongoing development of performance standards for
research with genetically modified fish and shellfish.
The meeting of the working group is open to the public. Persons may
participate in the meeting as time and space permit.
