    DEPARTMENT OF LABOR

    Employment and Training Administration
    [TA-W-36,106 and TA-W-36,106A]

Funtime Sportswear, Inc., Lansford, PA; Moscow, PA; Amended
Certification Regarding Eligibility To Apply for Worker Adjustment
    Assistance

In accordance with Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 as amended
(19 U.S.C. 2273) the Department of Labor issued a Certification
Regarding Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on July
8, 1999 applicable to all workers of Funtime Sportswear, Inc. located
in Lansford, Pennsylvania. The notice was published in the Federal
    Register on August 11, 1999 (64 FR 43723).
At the request of the petitioners, the Department reviewed the
certification for workers of the subject firm. New findings show that
worker separations occurred at the Moscow, Pennsylvania location of
Funtime Sportswear, Inc. when it closed in April 1999. The workers were
engaged in employment related to the production of sports bras and
    ladies' exercise shorts.
Accordingly, the Department is amending the certification to cover
workers at the Funtime Sportswear, Inc., Moscow, Pennsylvania location.
The intent of the Department's certification is to include all
workers of Funtime Sportswear, Inc. adversely affected by increased
    imports.
The amended notice applicable to TA-W-36,106 is hereby issued as
    follows:

All workers of Funtime Sportswear, Inc., Lansford, Pennsylvania
(TA-W-36,106) and Moscow, Pennsylvania (TA-W-36,106A) who became
totally or partially separated from employment on or after April 12,
1999 through July 8, 2001 are eligible to apply for adjustment
assistance under Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974.

Signed at Washington, D.C. this 31st day of August, 1999.
    Edward A. Tomchick,
Program Manager, Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance.
