has granted the request of the Tennessee Valley Authority (the
licensee) to withdraw its June 28, 1994, application for a proposed
amendment to Facility Operating License No. DPR-79 for the Sequoyah

The proposed amendment would have modified the facility technical

would have been implemented during the Unit 2 Cycle 6 refueling outage.
Additional information was supplied by letter dated August 1, 1994.

licensee withdrew the proposed change.
For further details with respect to this action, see the
application for amendment dated June 28, 1994; the licensee's letter
dated August 1, 1994, that supplied additional information; and the
licensee's letter dated September 8, 1994, which withdrew the
application for license amendment. The above documents are available
for public inspection at the Commission's Public Document Room, 2120 L
