Notice of Intent to Grant Partially Exclusive Patent License;
CIDRA Corporation
SUMMARY: The Department of the Navy hereby gives notice of its intent
to grant to CIDRA Corporation, a revocable, nonassignable, partially
exclusive license in the United States to practice the Government-owned
inventions described in U.S. Patent No. 5,361,130 ``Fiber Grating-Based
Sensing System With Interferometric Wavelength-Shift Detection,''
issued November 1, 1994 and U.S. Patent Application ``Optical Sensor
System Utilizing Bragg Grating Sensors'' filed June 28, 1996, in the
field of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Exploration and Production Markets.
Anyone wishing to object to the grant of this license has 60 days
from the date of this notice to file written objections along with
supporting evidence, if any. Written objections are to be filed with
the Office of Naval Research, ONR 00CC, Ballston Tower One, Arlington,
Virginia 22217-5660.
