Treasury Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of the U.S.
Customs Service
AGENCY: Department Offices, Treasury.
ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: This notice announces the date, time, and location for the
third meeting of the sixth two-year term of the Committee and the
provisional agenda for consideration by the Committee.
DATES: The third meeting of the current term of the Treasury Advisory
Committee on Commercial Operations of the U.S. Customs Service will be
held on Friday, October 8,1999, at 8:30 a.m. at the Governor Hotel, 611
S.W. 10th Street (at Alder) Portland, Oregon, (503) 224-3400]. The
duration of the meeting will be approximately three and a half hours.

the meeting.

a. Subcommittee on the Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF)

Office of Regulations and Rulings (OR&R)
4. Customs Budget
5. Northern border issues
6. Other business
The meeting is open to the public; however, participation in the
Committee's deliberations is limited to Committee members and Customs
and Treasury Department staff. A person other than an Advisory
Committee member who wishes to attend the meeting should give advance

October 1, 1999.
