State of Florida
As a result of the President's major disaster declaration on
September 4, 1998, and an amendment thereto on the same date, I find
that Bay, Dixie, Franklin, Gulf, Taylor, and Wakulla Counties in the
State of Florida constitute a disaster area due to damages caused by
Hurricane Earl which occurred on September 3, 1998. Applications for
loans for physical damages as a result of this disaster may be filed
until the close of business on November 3, 1998, and for loans for
economic injury until the close of business on June 4, 1999 at the
address listed below or other locally announced locations:
Small Business Administration, Disaster Area 2 Office, One Baltimore
Place, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30308
In addition, applications for economic injury loans from small
businesses located in the following contiguous counties in the State of
Florida may be filed until the specified date at the above location:
Calhoun, Gilchrist, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Levy, Liberty,
Madison, Walton, and Washington.
