Activities or to Acquire Companies that are Engaged in Permissible 
Nonbanking Activities; Correction

    This notice corrects a notice (FR Doc. 99-23843) published on page 
49805 of the issue for Tuesday, September 14, 1999.
    Under the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston heading, the entry for 
BostonFed Bancorp, Inc., Burlington, Massachusetts, is revised to read 
as follows:
    A. Federal Reserve Bank of Boston (Richard Walker, Community 
Affairs Officer) 600 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts 02106-2204:
    1. BostonFed Bancorp, Inc., Burlington, Massachusetts; to acquire 
Diversified Ventures, Inc. (d/b/a Forward Financial Company), 
Northborough, Massachusetts, and thereby engage in the origination of 
consumer installment loans, pursuant to Secs.  225.28(b)(1) and (b)(2) 
of Regulation Y, and in collection and leasing activities, pursuant to 
Sec.  225.28(b)(3) of Regulation Y.
    Comments on this application must be received by September 28, 
1999.
