k . Description of Request: The applicant proposes to amend the project boundary to remove lands that are not necessary for the operation and maintenance of the project or do not serve a project purpose. The applicant also proposes to add an approximately one acre parcel of land that it owns and is used for recreation and flowage. The proposed amendment will reduce the size of the project boundary by approximately 90 acres and the changes will only impact the Dam #1 and Dam #3 developments. The applicant states that all of the lands proposed to be removed are under private ownership and are not owned by the licensee.

Comments, Protests, or Motions to Intervene: Anyone may submit comments, a protest, or a motion to intervene in accordance with the requirements of Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 CFR 385.210, .211, .214. In determining the appropriate action to take, the Commission will consider all protests or other comments filed, but only those who file a motion to intervene in accordance with the Commission's Rules may become a party to the proceeding.
