In accordance with Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 USC
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Notice of Certification
Regarding Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance
applicable to workers of Sara Lee Knit Products at the Cleveland Avenue
plant in Martinsville, Virginia; Midway, Georgia; Cloverleaf Knitting
in Martinsville, Virginia; and the Distribution Center in Martinsville,
Virginia. The certification notice was issued on August 26, 1994 and
will soon be published in the Federal Register.
At the request of the company, the Department reviewed the
certification for workers producing men's, women's and children's
fleecewear at the subject firm. The findings show that production at
Sara Lee Knit Products in Gretna, Virginia was integrated with that of
the Martinsville, Virginia plant. The Gretna plant will close by the
    end of September, 1994.
The amended notice applicable to TA-W-30,089 through TA-W-30,092 is
    hereby issued as follows:

June 27, 1993 are eligible to apply for adjustment assistance under
Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974.

Signed at Washington, DC, this 16th day of September 1994.
