Suckle Corporation, Scranton, Pennsylvania; Notice of Affirmative
    Determination Regarding Application for Reconsideration

By letter of July 8, 1998, the International Union of Electrical
Workers, Local 127, requested administrative reconsideration of the
Department of Labor's Notice of Negative Determination Regarding
Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance for workers of
the subject firm. The denial notice was signed on June 10, 1999 and
published in the Federal Register on June 30, 1999 (64 FR 35183).
The petitioner presents evidence that the Department's customer
    survey was incomplete.

    Conclusion

After careful review of the application, I conclude that the claim
is of sufficient weight to justify reconsideration of the Department of
Labor's prior decision. The application is, therefore, granted.

Signed at Washington, DC this 17th day of September 1999.
    Grant D. Beale,
Program Manager, Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance.
