Sabine Pipe Line Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
Tariff

August 27, 1996.
    Take notice that on August 21, 1996, Sabine Pipe Line Company 
(Sabine) tendered for filing the following proposed change to its FERC 
Gas Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, to be effective October 1, 
1996:

    Third Revised Sheet No. 20

    Sabine states that the Commission has specified the Annual Charge 
Adjustment (ACA) unit charge of $.0023111291/Mcf to be applied to rates 
in 1996 for recovery of 1995 annual charges. The ACA unit rate of 
$.0023111291/Mcf converts to $.0022/MMBtu under Sabine's basis for 
billing.
    Sabine states that copies of the filing were served upon Sabine's 
customers, the State of Louisiana, Department of Natural Resources, 
Office of

Conservation and the Railroad Commission of Texas.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with 18 CFR, Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must 
be filed as provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's 
Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make Protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to 
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection 
in the Public Reference Room.
