AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.

ACTION: Science Advisory Board--Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: This notice is published in accordance with Section 9(a)(2) of 
the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (Pub. L. 920463). The Bureau 
of Land Management (BLM) Science Advisory Board will meet on Monday, 
October 5, 1998, beginning at 8:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the 
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Center, 12201 Sunrise Valley 
Drive, Room 7A413, Reston, Virginia. The agenda for the meeting is as
