SUMMARY:

The North Pacific Fishery Management Council's (Council) Observer Advisory Committee (OAC) will meet at the Anchorage Hilton Hotel, September 28-29, 2010.

DATES:

The meeting will be held September 28-29, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

The primary purpose of the meeting is to review the public review draft analysis to establish a new program for observer procurement and deployment in the North Pacific Groundfish Observer Program (i.e., restructuring). The committee will also receive a report on an electronic monitoring study in the commercial halibut fishery.
