AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Final rule; correction.

SUMMARY: The Federal Communications Commission published in the Federal 
Register of August 14, 1997 (62 FR 43481), an Order on Reconsideration 
that amended rules for the provision of telephones with volume control. 
This document corrects a typographical error in the regulatory text of 
the amended rules.

EFFECTIVE DATE: September 30, 1997.

correction removes the error.

    On page 43484, in the second column, in Sec. 68.112, in paragraph 
(b)(3)(iii) introductory text, line 3, the reference ``(b)(3)(i)(A)'' 
is corrected to read ``(b)(3)(i)''.
