Ozark Gas Transmission System; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC 
Gas Tariff

September 24, 1997.
    Take notice that on September 19, 1997, Ozark Gas Transmission 
System (Ozark) filed to become part of its FERC Gas Tariff, First 
Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets with respective July 
1, 1997, and October 1, 1997, effective dates:

First Revised Fifteenth Revised Sheet No. 4
Second Substitute Sixteenth Revised Sheet No. 4

    Ozark states that it is filing to revise this rate sheet to 
reflect: (1) Reduced rates effective July 1, 1997, in compliance with 
article I of the Stipulation and Agreement approved by the Commission 
in Docket No. RP96-189-000 on September 16, 1997; and (2) the new 
Commission-approved Annual Charge Adjustment (ACA) rate that will take 
effect on October 1, 1997.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed in 
accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken but will not serve to make the 
protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on 
file with the Commission and are available for public inspection in the 
Public Reference Room.
