Harrisburg, Oregon; Notice of Affirmative Determination Regarding 
Application for Reconsideration

    By letter of April 22, 1998 the petitioners requested 
administrative reconsideration of the Department of Labor's Notice of 
Negative Determination Regarding Eligibility to Apply for Worker 
Adjustment Assistance and NAFTA-Transitional Adjustment Assistance, 
applicable to petition numbers TA-W-33,570 and NAFTA--02180, 
respectively. The denial notices were signed on April 8, 1998 and 
published in the Federal Register on April 21, 1998 (63 FR 19753, NAFTA 
02180) and May 6, 1998 (63 FR 25081, TA-W-34,231).
    The petitioners allege that the imports of oriented strained board 
should have been considered by the Department in its survey of 
customers.

Conclusion

    After careful review of the application, I conclude that the claim 
is of sufficient weight to justify reconsideration of the Department of 
Labor's prior decision. The application is, therefore, granted.
