ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that the next meeting of the Northwest 
Colorado Resource Advisory Council will be held on September 20, 1996.

DATES: The meeting is scheduled for Friday, September 20, 1996 in 
Rifle, Colorado.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:00 
a.m.
    This meeting will be held at the U.S. Forest Service Office, Rifle 
Ranger District, 0094 County Road 244, Rifle, CO 81650.
    The agenda for this meeting will focus on general Council business, 
issues with which the Council would like to become involved, new 
business, and committee reports.
    All Resource Advisory Council meetings are open to the public. 
Interested persons may make oral statements to the Council, or written 
statements may be submitted for the Council's consideration. Public 
comment will be taken throughout the meeting. Depending on the number 
of persons wishing to make oral statements, a per-person time limit may 
be established by the Grand Junction/Craig District Manager.
    Summary minutes for the Council meeting will be maintained in the 
Grand Junction and Craig District Offices and will be available for 
public inspection and reproduction during regular business hours within 
thirty (30) days following the meeting.
