AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.
ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This action informs the public of the acquisition of 2,286.02
acres of private land. This action also opens the reconveyed land to
appropriation under the public land laws.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
1. The United States has acquired the surface estate of 2,286.02
acres of private land pursuant to Section 205 and 307(c) of the Act of
October 21, 1976 (90 Stat. 2755; 43 U.S.C. 1715). A description of the
acquired land is as follows:

2. At 8:00 a.m., on October 11, 1994, the lands described in
paragraph 1 will be opened to the operation of the public land laws
generally, subject to valid existing rights, the provisions of existing
withdrawals, other segregations of record, and the requirements of
applicable law. All valid applications received at or prior to 8:00
a.m. on October 11, 1994, shall be considered as simultaneously filed
at that time. Those received thereafter shall be considered in the
order of filing.
3. The purpose of this acquisition was to acquire riparian lands
and associated water rights.
