Jasper Textiles Company, Incorporated, Lumberton, NC; Notice of 
Termination of Investigation

    Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1975, an investigation 
was initiated on August 4, 1997 in response to a worker petition which 
was filed on July 26, 1997 on behalf of workers at the Jasper Textiles 
Company, Incorporated, Lumberton, North Carolina. The notice will soon 
be published in the Federal Register.
    An active certification covering the workers of Jasper Textiles 
Company, Incorporated, Jasper Drive, Lumberton, North Carolina is 
already in effect (TA-W-33,503C). Consequently, further investigation 
in this case would serve no purpose, and the investigation has been 
terminated.
