Description of Request: Seattle City Light requests authorization to suspend guided tours of the Ross and Diablo hydroelectric facilities for the 2010 recreation season due to lower than normal seasonal snowpack, predicted low flow conditions, and revenue shortages. As proposed, the tours would be suspended for one year only and all other recreation facilities described in article 412 of the project license, including ferry service on Diablo Lake, would remain open. Seattle City Light consulted with the National Park Service prior to filing the application. The National Park Service supports the request.
