ACTION:

Notice to delete a System of Records.

SUMMARY:

The Department of the Air Force is deleting a system of records notice in its existing inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended.

DATES:

This proposed action will be effective on April 5, 2013 unless comments are received which result in a contrary determination. Comments will be accepted on or before April 4, 2013.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

The Department of the Air Force systems of records notices subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended, have been published in the Federal Register and are available from the address in FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT.

The Department of the Air Force proposes to delete one system of records notice from its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. The proposed deletion is not within the purview of subsection (r) of the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended, which requires the submission of a new or altered system report.

Reason:

Records are covered by DoD System of Records Notice A0600-8-1C AHRC DoD, Defense Casualty Information Processing System (DCIPS) (May 3, 2011, 76 FR 24865). Additional records related to this subject may be filed in the official military records which is covered by Air Force System of Records Notice F036 AF PC C, Military Personnel Records System (October 13, 2000, 65 FR 60916). Therefore F036 AF PC R, Casualty Files (June 11, 1997, 62 FR 31793) can be deleted.
