SUMMARY:
The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance the following proposal for collection of information under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act.

Needs and Uses: The information collection requirement is necessary for the Department of the Army, Office of the Provost Marshal General to obtain and record the sex offender registration information of those sex offenders who reside or are employed on an Army installation. Registered sex offenders are defined as any person who is either registered or required to register as a sex offender by any law, regulation or policy of the United States, the Department of Defense, the Army, a State, U.S. territory, or tribal government. All registered sex offenders who reside or are employed on an Army installation will submit their registration information with the installation Provost Marshal Office. The information collected is entered into the Army Law Enforcement Reporting and Tracking System and used by Army law enforcement to ensure the sex offender is compliant with any court order restrictions.

Frequency: As required.
