public comment on federal register of 11/28/05 vol 70 3227 fr doc 05 23334 moving bovines and other animals in a humane fashion it is quite clear that this regulation is so loose that no animals will be moved in a humane fashion. the safeguards to ensure that are simply not in this regulation. it is loose so that profiteers can do whatever they want. there are endless reports of the brutality done to the animals in moving from the place where they are grown to the place where slaughtered. this whole profiteering business is loosely regulated and the animals suffer. i do not find this present regulation at all strict enough to make sure those poor animals are treated at all humanely. there is no inspection process put in place here to guarantee any of this. it is left up the profiteers and we all know how they operate - low cost, and brutal.
