Thank you for taking these comments. I strongly oppose the change in disease status of the Patogonia South Region of Argentina with requard to Rinderpest and FMD. FMD is highly contagious and poses extreme risk to the health of livestock. This region imports animals from the other areas of South America which still have FMD and Rinderpest therefore there is no assurance the area won't import the disease and before it were known, could expose the US livestock industry to this dreaded disease. These diseases cause such devastation in the livestock industry, the US must not expose our livestock and industry to such a risk.
