why cant the u.s. grow enough peppers within its own country? why are we allowing this importation with its danger of exotic insects causing all kinds of problems here? why cant we have local small farms with fresh food instead of the endless oil involved in shipping peppers here from so far far away. the pollution engendered from this kind of reliance on peppers from such a far away location is enormous and it should be stopped. let the u.s. become reliant on its own peppers. i say this whole proposal is trash.
