I can't believe this new rule! As a small family farm it is rules like this that will put us out of business! First we have to put up with the dump of tomatoes from Canada and now we have to compete with tomatoes that have been sprayed, fertilized or grown in god knows what kind of chemicals. If they are not treated before they enter our country we will be once be the dump of millions of pounds of cheap tomatoes. If we have to compete it should be on level playing grounds. The same restrictions that we have to sell our produce to markets should also be imposed on the imported produce. There should also be some sort of tax or whatever, levied on the country (same as imported cars) that exports their produce to our country. This new rule will put another shovel of dirt on the American farmers grave. Shame on You!
