In light of the recenet outbreak of EHV-1, quarantine of imported horses has become a very hot topic. The privatiztion of quarnatine facilities would certainly serve an economic purpose. Tte necessary guidelines and subsequent inspection are a concern. The economic risk of improper quarantine and subsquent epidemics could be devastaing to the economy of many states, Florida, Kentucky and California are just a few. Is your organization capable of mantaining the strict standards and vigilant watch over these new facilities?
