Importation of Fruit From Thailand

While making it harder for local and mainland farmers to make a living, we risk greater pest infestaion. On top of the price of oil continuing to escalate we still insist on shipping food across vast distances when it is available locally. It just doesn't make sense. Support local farming or it will cease to exist. No local agriculture? That would be a problem!
