I refer to the Federal Register Vol. 71, No. 150, published on Friday August 4, 206, pages 544234-44239 that contains the propose rule emitted by the agency APHIS to modify the 9 CFR Part 95 (Docket Not APHIS-2006-0113) Importation Swine Hides and Skins, Bird Trophies and Ruminant Hides and Skins. I think that it would be pertinent o clarify the proposal for the final publication for this regulation. In which is of concerning to the Ruminant Hides and Skins from Mexico, text proposed on page 44239, second column, clause (b)(1) ?They have been subjected to any of the treatments specified in paragraphs (a)(3) of this section. We suggest that the following changes be done: * To eliminate the clause (a)(3) since it excludes Ruminant Hides and Skins from Mexico. * To include the clause (a)(5) that regulates lime treatment of Ruminant Hides and Skins Hoping to hear from you, and without more on the individual, receive a cordial greeting.
