Brucellosis in Cattle; Research Facilities

The administration of the Louisiana Agricultural Experiment Station (LAES) strongly supports the proposed change in 9 CFR Part 78. It is imperative that brucellosis research animals not count against the Brucellosis Free status of a state. Since brucellosis has yet to be eradicated from the United States, it is imperative that brucellosis research continue.
