I don't agree with this proposal. Firstly, if we didn't have mass numbers of chickens housed in an enclosed environment, in order to mass produce eggs, we would not have this question of regulating the spread of diseases. Secondly, to only test one chicken out of 10,000, on spradic days, with a virus that is shed intermittantly, leaves a large margin for error and the possibiblity for human illness is great. I don't think you should even be considering such a proposal. ANY risk of spreading disease from animal to human through this inhumane process is to big a risk. I am so glad I don't eat such products.
