public comment on federal register of 7/5/07 vol 72 #128 pg 36649 usda aphis docket 2007-0079 omb 0579-0230 import of pigs from mexico attetnion dr masoud malik(?) and celeste sickles i do not think we should be importing pigs from mexico or from any other country any longer. it is clear that there is no inspection of food from other countries, after seeing what china got away from and after hearing statistics on how little inspection is done. we need to shut down the import of food. the abuse of these animals is also extreme and that should not go on. we need to shut down this business. i do not favor importing live animals from any other country or indeed any meat from any animals from any other country. americans are under this system given food that is not safe in mhy opinion. it is fact that even inspections of food production in the united states is done on a happenstance random basis with places not being inspected in years. this has to stop. animals do not deserve this abuse. the food needs to be cleaner. no wonder americans are getting sick. we need to bring this into this country and we need to clean up this business, which is in dire need of repair. b. sachau 15 elm st florham park nj 07932
