Would you over-regulators please just BUTT OUT of people’s business, as relates to how they use plants and animals to benefit humans? This is between private individuals and their God or their conscience, or whatever you want to call it. I wish we, the public, could TRUST our regulators to have common-sense balance, but since we can NOT trust you silly nanny-state over-regulators, you just need to STOP adding more regulations, and start tearing down the stupid regulations you have, and start hiring smarter regulators, and firing the stupid ones. See the writings of James Bovard… If I as a private individual… And this sort of thing HAS happened… Decide that I just LOVE endangered slime-backed yellow-livered toad-dogs (or turtles) so much, that I am going to raise them and hug them and squeeze them and kiss them, and then release them in the wild, at my own expense, then I am going to get fined and jailed because I am not a Government-Almighty degreed, credentialed, and certified expertologist of expertology! And you Government Almighty types, at taxpayer expense, send the parts (feathers primarily) of eagle carcasses found on federal lands, to Native Americans, but ONLY if the Native Americans are certified as such, by Government Almighty! No matter HOW sincerely I as a mere nobody white man… Or even as a NON-certified “Native”… May profess to worship eagle feathers, I, on the other hand, am going to be fined and jailed for owning eagle feathers, even if the feathers just happen to fall out of the clear blue sky, onto my property. WHERE is my FREEDOM, any more? And that deal with exotic hardwoods and the Gibson Guitar company, it just goes to show you, you guys are utterly parasitical power pigs and you just plain don’t CARE about jobs, let alone freedom, for Americans any more!
