PUBLIC COMMENT ON DOCKET 2007-0099 IMPORTING FOOD FROM GHANA
THIS PROPOSAL TO IMPORT THIS FOOD WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF PESTS
IS FAR TOO GREAT. WE NEED TO DENY IMPORTING THIS FOOD. WE HAVE
BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF LOSSES HERE IN AMERICA WITH PESTS
ALLOWED INTO THIS COUNTRY BY APHIS, USDA. WE NEED TO DENY THIS
IMPORT OF FOOD. WE NEED TO GROW OUR FOOD IN OUR OWN COUNTRY
AND LOCALLY INSTEAD OF IMPORTING FROM OTHER COUNTRIES.
THIS REPRESENTS A REAL RISK AND ONE WE DO NOT NEED TO TAKE.
I ALSO THINK GHANA NEEDS ITS OWN FOOD FOR ITS OWN PEOPLE. DENY
THIS PROPOSAL.
