Certain fruits and vegetables moved interstate from Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands must undergo irradiation treatment. Requirements for irradiation treatment of fruits and vegetables are contained in 7 CFR 305, ‘‘Phytosanitary Treatments.’’ NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Consumers are OPPOSED to irradiation!! Consumers want FRESH fruits and vegetables!! Consumers are OPPOSED to irradiated poison food!! Make sure fresh fruits and vegetables are safe!! Stop poisoning our food supply!!
