I do not support the deregulation of GM papaya. Genetic modification has been proven harmful to both consumer and environmental health in many cases. We do not have a sufficient understanding of the long-term implications of genetic modification to continue to add genetically modified crops into widespread production. Please do not grant nonregulated status to this papaya variety.
