Has anyone thought about just quarintining the dairies.. That is where the
problems come from not the ranches.. Besides they already have their cattle
confined and easy to test. We have ranches in southeast new mexico but we
also have a ranch in andrews county ,Texas. We are unable to take cattle to our
own ranch because of this unless we test everything here..That becomes a huge
financial burden for us ,not only do we have to bring everything up to be tested
and feed them for 3 days and try to keep all the cattle seperated but in a pile for
your to test.. Not only that but as far as I know we only have 1 large animal vet
here in lea county, but the last time I called that vet I was told by the answering
service they hadnt been able to get in touch with the vet for a week..So how do we
get them tested---we have to get a Texas vet---MORE EXPENSES.. Try
QAURINTINING THE DAIRYS ONLY... THEY ARE THE PROBLEM.
