As a dog breeder I jump through enough hoops to import a quality dog. This bill is yet another government knee jerk response that will do little or nothing to stop the people importing numerous dogs for resale but will hamper and impede the reputable breeder who wishes to enhance their breeding programs or bring in top show dogs purchased in other countries. Maybe you should consider a different approach to this which does not penalize legitimate show breeders.
