"The plants and place of production are free from Bemisia tabaci based on official inspections carried out at the place of production at least every three weeks during the nine weeks prior to export."
IMPORTANT NOTE: if Bemisia tabaci is detected at any time during the nine weeks prior to exportation, then the consignment can not meet Option 2. The consignment will now have to meet Option 3, below.
OR,
• Option 3: Where Bemisia tabaci has been detected at the place of production:
"The place of production and plants were treated to ensure freedom from Bemisia tabaci and subsequently the place of production was found free from Bemisia tabaci based on official inspections carried out weekly during the nine weeks prior to export."
IMPORTANT NOTE: if Bemisia tabaci is detected at any time during the weekly inspections prior to exportation, eradication measures must be taken. The nine weeks of official inspections must begin again once Bemisia tabaci has been eradicated.
