I am in support of amending current rules regarding the inspecting, importing, and distributing these oranges from Japan and South Korea. I believe the efforts of current US Fed rules regarding the inspection and processing of citrus fruit to prevent citrus canker being applied to imported fruit is a great idea. I also believe that great efforts from agencies in Japan and South Korea, have been made to prevent citrus canker in order for those countries to export. I think lifting current ban on the importing of these oranges is a good idea as long as the imported fruit is able to meet all USDA requirements and be inspected and tested by USDA in the United States.
