Importation of Figs and Pomegranates from Chile under a Systems Approach

March 23, 2011 Hello, I am looking to purchase fresh whole pomegranates from Chile. I live in New York and I have read that pomegranates will be arriving in the US this month from Chile. Are they being held up? Are produce importers able to purchase them yet? I have seen the arils in some stores but no one yet has the whole fruit. Can you give me any information as to when and when I can purchase the whole fruit that is supposed to be shipped from Chile?
