I wonder just what part of the word "NO" the USDA does not understand... Just because the name of the program has changed and the PR department has chosen a new tactic does NOT mean that people in this country are buying into the little game. If the international players want all this, then they can have it - costs, responsibilities and (fictional) profits - all of it. As for REAL farmers and intelligent consumers, most of us want nothing to do with your little databases, computerized tracking and all the rest of the stuff that should be fertilizing the White House garden instead of taking up our time. (A garden, incidentally, allowed to be called organic without having to pass through all the hoops anyone else would have to - another USDA LIE....) While selling anything across state lines puts things in the venue of commerce, over which the USDA has some control, it is NOT required for servicing the illegal foreign trade contracts our Congress has fast-tracked into PSEUDO-law. Your little "program" should apply only to those willing and desiring to cower before the World Trade Organization, not to those of us who wish to purchase breeding stock from a neighbor across state lines. I have a question for every member of Congress and all of your employees, staff and appointees: Just what IS the charge for selling out the true and real interests of the people of the United States in favor of foreign interests? Name changes, venue swapping, the corporate-employee-to-administration revolving door and marketing spin do not mean your position is truth. They only mean this fight will continue until you are either removed from your position or we win. We proved it before and we will continue to do so. You might have the money and the power - but we have the numbers and the truth. Elections are coming, some this year, and some in 2012. May you all have pleasant trips back home. NO NAIS - no matter what you've decided to call it.
