Re: Docket No. APHIS–2010–0075, “Gypsy Moth Generally Infested Areas; Additions in Indiana, Maine, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin To Whom It May Concern: The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services supports the proposed action to amend gypsy moth regulations by adding new areas that are generally infested by the gypsy moth based on the detection of gypsy moth infestations. The proposed regulatory action to restrict interstate movement of regulated articles from those areas will be important to better prevent the artificial spread of the gypsy moth to non-infested areas of the United States.
