"reducing regulatory oversight" is government doublespeak for we're not goinig to checkthis anymore and we are going to leave it iup to the profiteers! this is a scary thought. the agency gets the same amount of money but no longer does the job. we had that happen with haccp and look at the huge meat recalls that ae happening as we speak. we do not people who check up on profiteers because greed is what they are after. giving consumers the least so they can get the most. govt is supposed to monitor that. i see govt actually these days in teh hands of the profiteers and the consumer being ignoed and scammed by this cabal between govt and profiteer - the money seems to turn heads in govt so that they domt do eth jobs anymore. look at how nra money has perverted our govt. the crooked pols fall all over themselves for that money. i do not support less regulation. i think it just encourages buyer beware, profiteers giving consumers poison to eat and drink.
