I farm potatoes, peanuts, watermelons, sorghum and onions in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. We depend on a consistent supply of irrigation water to produce our crops. I support the release of the scale insect for the biocontrol program for carrizo cane because it can help us save water needed for agriculture.
