I believe that by allowing for the importation of avocados from Spain into the United States, we are depriving not only jobs from American workers, but also depriving fruit growers of America the chance to have their business boom. Instead, with this rule, jobs would be taken elsewhere, and those who grow fruit, such as avocados, within America will have their business jeopardized by outside sources. I believe that we should keep all of the goods and jobs for the avocado business within the United States borders.
