Importation of Avocados from Continental Spain

As an avocado grower in Hawaii, I am disappointed that protocols are being established for the importation of avocados from Spain, when nothing seems to have been done about the protocols for the sale of Hawaiian avocados on the United States mainland. Foreign markets are being given access ahead of our own. The Federal Government should be looking after our own markets ahead of those of other nations.
