I support the Access Board's proposal to require a bus ramp slope to be no steeper than 1:6 I support the Access Board's proposals to require that new buses must have equipment for automated stop announcements and route identification. I support the Access Board's proposals to require maneuvering clearances on vehicles for reaching wheelchair spaces. I further support changes to the ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) in the Access Board's previous draft that would provide new language to change the definition of "rail station" to include stations for Bus Rapid Transit and increase the distance measured from the curb to nine feet (from eight feet) for passenger boarding.
