Proposed Accessibility Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way

The text of R304.3.1 is in disagreement with the Figure R304.3.1 The text states that "The 1.5m (5.0 ft.) dimension shall be provided in the direction of the pedestrian street crossing." Yet the figure shows the 1.5m (5.0 ft.) dimension to be in the direction of sidewalk travel (not in the direction of the street crossing). From the text in the preamble, I presume that the text is correct and the figure is in error. Please resolve this discrepancy as way too many people look at the pictures without reading the text. Thanks
